On The Sixth Day of Christmas . . .

//A lovely pair of Tulip Mittens! I've had my eye on these for a while. I really like their unique design and great texture and of course the color red is beautiful this time of year.

And here is what's happening outside my house. Sorry for the delay in posting today, I got busy and almost forgot!

On The Fifth Day . . .

//Five Golden Rings - who wouldn't want that?! I would settle for this though, Winter Sky Hat by Judith Swartz.

Also, Knit Picks is having a great "Win Your Wishlist" Contest. Check it out here.

On The Fourth Day of Ravelry Christmas . . . . .

//my true love made for me: The Four Seasons Winter Hat by Tanis Lavallee. That's right, all together now, sing it, you know it. This one even rimes, I am so good.

I love the colors in this pattern, beautiful, and it would be a good first project for diving into colorwork! Go for it!

I almost forgot, I wanted to share this recent article and video from Wall Street Journal about arm knitting, the newest knitting craze to hit the country. It is so cool, let me know what you think. I don't know if I would like doing this simply because of the awkwardness of it and what if you had to go to the bathroom, then what? I'm just saying.

Christmas Collage and 12 Days of Ravelry Christmas

This is what's going on at my house.

Festivus Cowl
//The start of 12 Days of Ravelry Christmas: 1. Festivus Cowl by Tanis Gray.

I hope you all had a good holiday filled with good eats! Now try not to get too crazy with all of your shopping, cooking, parties, knitting/sewing, etc. What always helps me to stay grounded during this hectic time is to go outside for a walk, take deep breaths, soak in the tub and not necessarily in that order. Let me know what you do!

Have a good week!

xoxo Shannon
